Got a call from this number today, but I suspected it was dodgy so I just hung up straight away.

There was a lot of background chatter, sounded like a tiny call centre. This woman, with an Asian accent, said she was from BT and wanted to chat about my internet. When she asked how I was, I told her, "I'm great thanks, and you must be a scammer!" She then just cut me off. If she was legit, she would've said British Telecom properly, and wouldn’t have dropped the call like that. So yeah, definitely some kind of scam going on.
