They called me for the very first time saying there was a £900 charge on Amazon and £700 on some other firm. The voice sounded like some recorded woman, trying to trick me into pressing 1 for details and 2 to connect to my bank. Honestly, don’t press anything, just end the call right away. The next day they rang once more, but I just ignored it and they hung up. BT really needs to sort this out, it’s mad how these scammers get hold of your landline number!
