Got a dodgy text saying something about tax and if I didn’t call back they’d arrest me. Just ignored it and blocked the number straight away.

So this bloke rings me up saying I’m due a tax refund of £1852 to be paid into my account within 8 weeks. But then he goes on about how to get the full sum, I’d have to sign up for some kind of insurance plan, otherwise they’d deduct £982 tax from the bank. Proper nonsense if you ask me! He didn’t even try to get my bank details, which made me instantly realise it was a total scam.

The amount of times these idiots ring me from all sorts of numbers, some mobiles, some landlines, is ridiculous. One minute it's about life insurance, next it's PPI, then it's debt advice - always a different story. Is there any way to just block them completely if they keep swapping their numbers? So annoying! grr!

Got a call from an Asian bloke claiming there was £800 in PPI waiting for me. I just ignored it and ended the call straight away. Next thing I know, they’re saying they're from UK Pensions. Just hung up again. These lot are such pests, honestly. I've blocked loads of their numbers but they just keep ringing. So irritating!!!

If you get a call from 07458 715478, just block the number straight away or ignore it completely. This guy, sounds like he’s from India, kept ringing me over three days and messed up the English names every time. It’s definitely a scam, they won’t even let you have a proper chat - just cuts the call off. Really dodgy stuff. Best thing is to report them to ICO and block the number. The more complaints the better the chances of catching these con artists. So yeah, steer well clear of 07458 715478, it’s not legit at all!

This number keeps ringing me, the person on the other end speaks with an Indian accent and keeps giving me a different surname that isn’t even mine. I told them straight up that they had the wrong person, but they just called me a liar and haven’t stopped calling since. Really annoying!

Got a missed call from this number and decided to call back. An automated voice said, "Hang up, your call is important to us," which was kinda strange. Then I tried ringing them again, this time with my number hidden, but all I got was complete silence. Don’t really know what’s going on, so I’ve just blocked the number to be safe.

They rang me on two occasions. The first call was from a bloke speaking with a strong Asian accent, who even got my name completely wrong. When I told him I wasn’t that person, he shouted “then why do you pick up?” and just hung up on me. The second time, a woman with a similar accent called claiming I qualified for a £2,000 PPI refund, but then asked for my bank info, which seemed a bit dodgy to me.

Got a call from some guy with an Indian accent, said he was from a debt relief company. He claimed they noticed I have some debts I’m handling and asked for my bank info. Seemed a bit off to me.

This bloke rang me thrice. Picked up on the third call and he started talking about some sort of benefits. When I asked which benefits, he suddenly switched to life insurance! Told him to take me off their list and stop calling. Then he just told me to shove it. I gave him a taste of his own medicine and swore back at him. He got quiet for a moment, muttered something I couldn’t catch ‘cause of his thick Indian accent, then he hung up. Proper dodgy behaviour!

Got a call from this so called credit help group, said they're a charity or whatever. They asked if I owed any money, told them I didn’t. Then the guy, with an Indian accent, just told me to ‘go f##k yourself’! Proper unprofessional, if I find out which mobile network they're on, I’ll be reporting them and trying to get them shut down, for sure.

Somebody rang me up saying they were from the financial ombudsman and even gave my old address. Then they got my date of birth wrong and kept trying to tell me I was due some PPI compensation. They couldn’t pronounce my last name properly and got quite rude when I started asking them stuff.

I got a call from this number, some bloke with an Indian accent ringing about PPI. When I told him I never made a claim, he just goes, “oh blimey, you’re the wrong person.” I reckon I’ve had calls from this company before but from a different number. Funny thing is, they always butcher my name and it’s always some guy with a thick Indian accent saying I’m owed like £1000 for stuff I don’t even know about. As the saying goes, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is a load of rubbish.

Got a call from this number 0745 8715478, no message left, bit sus if you ask me. Been checked it loads today, over 24 times and just did again now. Anyone else had a ring from them? Could be a scam or some dodgy cold caller, so watch out!

They’ve rung me four times already today. I managed to pick up on the third call, but it was something about my bank account and I couldn’t really make out what they were saying cause of the strong accent. The fourth call was all about my PPI. I’ve blocked the number now, proper annoying!

I received a call from a chap who insisted that I was due more than a grand. He requested my sort code and account number, which struck me as rather suspicious. When I probed him about the origin of these funds, his reply was the tax office. Naturally, I mentioned that I would get in touch with the tax office myself, to which he retorted that they were, in fact, the tax office! Honestly, would the tax office really be using a mobile phone to make such calls?
