I got a call from 07458500240, which belongs to Marathon Telecommunications Ltd. The message was this awful recorded voice, kinda American accent, saying something about a letter I supposedly sent back to HMRC and that legal action was being started against me. They told me to press 1 to talk to someone. Thing is, I never sent any letter to HMRC! Honestly, this is definitely a scam. It’s actually the second call I got today, but from a different number. Just a heads up, HMRC will NOT ring you up on your mobile or landline like this.
