On the 23rd of November 2021 at about 10.54 in the morning, I got a call from 07458196496. A polite lady with an Asian accent introduced herself as Ana claiming she was from the UK benefits office. She proceeded with all the usual benefits office stuff, asking me to verify my name and where I live. After that, she started asking my age, job status and whether I owned or rented the place. Then she strangely wanted info about my washing machine. That's when I got suspicious and told her no government office would ask for that. I ended the call and immediately blocked that number.

I picked up the call but the person didnt even say hello and just stayed silent. After like 5 seconds they just ended the call. Honestly, they should really find a proper job instead of this.

This bloke somehow knew my name and the address where I used to live. He asked for my new one but wouldn’t explain why he needed it, just kept saying it was for some opinion survey. When I told him I wasn’t comfortable sharing that, he just ended the call.

this morning i got a call from someone who already had my name and where i live. he kept asking crazy questions like if i was 40, 50 or 60, i just didn’t get what he was after. i told him bye and tried to hang up but he kept talking and kept saying stuff like "i’m coming to get you". honestly, felt really creepy and unsafe.
