It won’t fix things instantly, but right now the police don’t have the full picture of how widespread this crime is or the newest scams being tried. If we all who get these annoying calls and texts carry on reporting them and complain to our MPs, then maybe something will finally be done to put an end to these nasty thieves.

Quite frankly, if there had been any installation, I wouldn’t have a clue as to where it’s vanished to. It’s undeniably a con! Over the last week, she’s been bombarded with nearly 10 empty voicemails from various numbers. Best to steer clear of calls from unfamiliar folks!

Had to block this number after they kept ringing me nonstop. I never picked up coz I didn't know who it was. Now when they call, it just goes straight to voicemail. Most times it's silent, but once I could hear loads of noise like a call centre in the background. We used to have a timeshare and reckon this is one of those scam calls about getting cash back from the timeshare firm. Best not to answer if this number rings you.

I have received four calls in the past two days from someone claiming to be a timeshare resolution center. They say that I requested a call to learn more about their services, which is completely untrue. I have explicitly asked them to stop calling me, but they continue to ring me from different numbers. It strikes me as odd that all the individuals from this so-called "business" are using the same mobile phone.

Looks like this number is linked to a firm called Resort Properties, which was connected to Silverpoint at one time - both involved in timeshare sales and holiday lettings. I’d suggest you report them to Ofcom or the ICO using the links provided here. It’s a quick process and might help get rid of these annoying calls.
