I just ignored when my mobile rang and didn’t say a word. Then it happened again on my landline. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number on both phones now. Pretty clear it’s a scam. They keep calling from all sorts of numbers. Best thing is to just block them straight away.

I told the bloke straight up that cold calling is against the law but he just kept going on about some house equity thing. Had to ask him nicely to take my number off his list and to stop ringing me.

I picked up the phone and the person on the other end just dropped the call without saying anything.

It was one of those robotic voices that just didn’t make sense, almost like they were attempting to mask who they really were.

I got a call from someone saying they were from an insurance firm, claiming I had a life insurance plan with them. After I blocked that number, they rang me back but this time the number was almost the same, just one digit changed, like from 29 to 30. Proper annoying!
