There was this man with a strong Indian accent, and I struggled to catch what he was saying. He kept talking about gas and electric services, trying to convince me the call was useful. I decided to hang on a bit longer than usual to figure out his purpose. Pretty quickly, it became clear he was fishing for my bank info - which I’d never hand over to some stranger calling out of the blue, no matter what they said.

What an absolute nuisance! Just had a rather dodgy call from an Indian chap who seemed intent on simply wasting my precious minutes. I’d advise against answering it altogether!

Received a dodgy call from some bloke claiming my electricity and gas would be switched off. Total spam!

Got a call from this Indian guy going on about electricity and gas stuff. I couldn’t make out what he was saying so I just ended the call.

Got a call from someone saying I owed money and if I didn’t pay up soon they’d switch off my electric. Was really scary at first but luckily it turned out to be a scam. Told them I’d sort it with my energy provider and they just hung up. Definitely made me wary about who I answer calls from now!
