They claimed to be from iva or something, so I just ended the call.

Got a call from some young person in a call centre asking to talk to xyz, who wasn’t around. I said I could pass on a message, but that didn’t seem to satisfy them at all. Ended up just blocking the number!

total spam calls, i swear. these days they hide their numbers but i figured a way to find out who's calling before picking up. the safest bet is not to answer any call that’s withheld unless you're waiting on a call from your GP or hospital. also, if you ask your phone company, they can block all calls without a caller ID for you. safe and sound!
