Got a missed call from them earlier and didn’t pick up. After having a quick look here, I noticed loads of people saying it might be insurance scam, so I’m just gonna block the number to be safe.

After getting loads of calls every day from them, I finally called back the life insurance firm. They wanted me to confirm my phone number, so I just ended up blocking them.

It sounded like an insurance firm calling me. They already had my info and just wanted to check if I was alright with my current provider, what I was paying, and how much they'd pay out if something happened to me. I told them I was happy with everything, so they didn’t push further. They also mentioned my coverage lasts up to age 90.

This morning I got a call from someone claiming to be my life insurance provider, and stupidly I believed the lot. They already had all my info, even my medical stuff, but luckily not my new address - that’s the only thing that saved me from being completely done over! I’m proper annoyed about it. I’m currently waiting on hold with my actual insurance company now, but it seems like there’s bugger all they can do. Thanks for the post. - Alison

Got a call from someone claiming to be my life insurance company - stupid me, I actually believed them. They've now got all my personal info! I'm proper annoyed. Currently waiting on the line with my real insurance provider to sort this mess out. Cheers, Alison.

It’s crazy how much personal info they’ve got, yet nothing’s done about it. Surely there should be some way to take legal action, especially when they pretend to be official law firms or government bodies with shady motives. You’d think it’d be obvious, but guess not.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with Royal London Life Insurance. They seemed to know a fair bit about me, but looking back, some of the info they had was a bit outdated. I ended up giving them some details, which was daft of me. Don’t really know what they wanted exactly. From now on, I’m just going to ignore any calls from numbers I don’t recognise!
