I asked twice who was on the line, and they ended up swearing at me, calling me a c**t and even claiming it was my dad they were speaking to. Honestly, it was pretty shocking. My colleagues overheard it too and told me to report it to the police. It was really upsetting for all of us, especially thinking about how scary it must be for older or vulnerable people they just randomly phone. They knew my full name though, which freaked me out at first. They said the government had contacted them about debts I supposedly owe. When I asked how much, they wanted me to confess first.
