08/11/13 13:42 I just received a rather alarming text saying: URGENT! We’ve attempted to reach you, and it’s crucial we chat today. Kindly ring 08445718143 and quote reference 110997. Cheers! Interestingly, there were no calls missed on my phone. I decided to give the number a ring, but I couldn’t quite catch the company details when they answered, and then I found myself dropped into a hold queue. That’s when I decided to hang up. I’ve come across several reports from others who've had a similar experience, all mentioning various numbers but with an identical message. It seems they just keep you on hold forever, which could lead to an outrageous bill. So really, do yourself a favour and steer clear of calling that number!
