I received a call alerting me that my Amazon account had been compromised. The caller insisted that I needed to follow his directions immediately, otherwise, I would be billed for an iPhone that some unscrupulous individual had allegedly ordered through my account. He warned me that I’d incur this fraudulent charge within the hour if I didn’t comply. Quite alarmed, I decided to hang up.

I attempted to reach out but got no response. When I tried again, I was met with a message saying the number isn’t recognised. I’ve now added it to my blocked list.
