Someone called pretending to be from Amazon and were extremely rude. They told me my account had been hacked and showed me 2 iPhones supposedly in my cart, then said I had to install this Zoho Assist app to sort it out. I rang the real Amazon to double-check, and they said it wasn’t them. The same number rang back, and when I told them I’d checked, the woman just laughed at me and hung up. It was really alarming because they had loads of my personal info and even sent emails that looked like real Amazon ones, confirming strange logins and knowing all my previous orders and addresses.
