A woman called me with a really thick accent, said she was from Amazon and that my account had been hacked. Mentioned something about a recent order I supposedly made, which is nonsense since I hardly ever order anything online. She wanted me to give her personal details but I told her I’d verify it myself then ended the call and blocked the number. Afterwards, I logged into my Amazon account, changed my password and switched on two-factor authentication just to be safe. Definitely a scam.
