I picked up the phone but the call dropped straight away...

I answered but there was nobody there, just spam calls as usual.

I got a call from someone claiming they were offering me a 20% discount on my EE bills as part of an upgrade to my plan. They wanted my full name, birthday and address. Sounds dodgy to me. I hung up and rang EE directly to check, and just like I thought, they said it was a complete scam! Don’t get caught out like I almost did.
