There was absolutely no one on the line when I answered-just a nuisance call, I reckon.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from EE, suggesting I could get my contract upgraded with a tempting offer of a 20% discount on future bills. They asked for my name, date of birth, and address-suspicious much? I realised it was a scam, so I promptly hung up. Just to be sure, I reached out to EE directly, only to discover, shockingly, that it was all a load of nonsense! Don’t be fooled by these dodgy callers!
