I got a call from a number I didn’t know and decided not to pick up. Right after, my screen showed some weird fake voicemail image, so I just waited for it to go away. When I finally checked my real voicemail, there was nothing there from that call.

Got a call from a man who said his name was Alan, sounded Indian, and said he was from something called the DRS, I think. He opened with "The reason I am calling is…" but the moment I said "DRS? What's that?" he just cut off the call. Definitely fishy, no real person would just hang up like that. Been getting these sorts of dodgy calls and lots of silent hang-ups for a few months now - pretty sick of it all.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from the council about a burst pipe. They started asking loads of questions about my home, and what freaked me out was how much they already knew. I only found out about my leaking pipe like a few days ago, and honestly, only me and the water company were aware of it. Honestly, it's a bit creepy how they got hold of that info. Watch out for calls from them, they also use this number 02045255200.

Some bloke called saying he was from Legal and General, offering life insurance. When he asked if I had any health problems, I told him straight up I’m terminally ill. After that, he just told me to ‘go die, you mother*cker’. Proper rude, so I’ve blocked the number now.

After a bit of silence and some noisy background that sounded like a call centre, a guy with a strong accent came on the line. When I tried to find out what the purchase was about, the person just dodged the question completely. It's obvious with so many people shopping on Amazon at this time of year, someone’s bound to fall for it and hand over their info. I could even hear loads of other calls happening in the background.
