I wasnt by my phone when they rang, and I dont have voicemail so they must have just let it ring or ended the call. My phone flagged it as possible spam and says its linked to telemarketing. I also got a call yesterday on a different number, maybe from the same group since they often switch numbers. That other number didnt come up with any info tho. I was already on a call then so I ignored it. It doesnt look like this number's been reported here so I’m not really sure who it is. I’m not posting the other number just in case its legit.

Got a call from an Indian woman who knew my name and claimed to be from a debt collection agency. I’m certain it’s a scam since I don’t owe any money at all.

Dodgy call centre from India ringing me over 10 times daily, using all sorts of fake numbers. They say they're from Public Health, debt advice, British Medical Association and loads more. I think they got my info from a payday loan form I filled out last week, cos the calls started straight away. Dunno who falls for this crap, but guessing their staff get rubbish pay anyway. She asked if I had a covid card and said she’d send one if I didn’t. Then she started quizzing me about life insurance, rattling off loads of policy names. I kept saying I wasn’t sure, so she pressed me again. When I asked where exactly she was calling from, she said not to worry, she wasn’t trying to sell me anything, just needed the info for her records. I still didn’t have the answers, so she said she’d ring back later.
