2 monthsGot a robotic call warning me about two dodgy payments from my bank account, one for £99 to Amazon and another for £799 to Zoom. The message told me to press 1 if they were legit or 2 if they weren’t, then I’d get put through to the bank’s fraud team. I thought it sounded fishy so I logged into my online banking and saw no such transactions. Pretty sure this is a scam attempt, especially since the automated lady on the phone never said which bank she was representing. Stay clear of this!AmazonZoom2 yearsI got a call the other day from 07455397826. A man with a foreign accent said his name was Brian and claimed to be from BT. He told me they’d been working in my area because the broadband was running slow. He asked me to check my emails for a PIN they supposedly sent. When I looked, there was a very real-looking email that seemed to be from BT. I told him I hadn’t had any broadband problems and that I’m not even a BT customer. Then I asked if this was some kind of scam, and he just hung up on me. That said it all really. Just sharing so others don’t fall for it.BrianBTSubmit Your Own Report (07455 397826)
