Got a call claiming it was about some advert, then they started asking for money. Classic scam if you ask me. The company named was ECP Media, though I reckon they throw around loads of company names that aren't even active anymore.

Somebody rang me saying they were with a local magazine and that my ad was set to go live for a whole year. I told her I didn’t recall ever chatting with her before. She insisted we talked back in November. I asked what the conversation was about, and she said an advert. When I wanted to know the details of the ad, she just cut the call. Sounds like one of those dodgy attempts to get money. Number’s now blocked.

Somebody rang up claiming they were from CommunityAd, a local mag I'd actually used before. They said I had an ad ready to go live soon, and if I'd fallen for it, I reckon they would've tried to get my card info. When I asked for the office phone, they gave me 08084270101. Felt a bit dodgy to me.
