Some bloke with a dodgy accent called me claiming to be from a security company. He said there was over £1000 taken from my bank in two transactions and wanted my date of birth and address to check it out. I quickly told him I wasn’t sharing any info coz it sounded like a scam and he just ended the call.

What a right charmer I had the pleasure of chatting with over the phone! This rather self-satisfied lady seemed utterly lost when it came to her actual role. When I dared not divulge what I do for a living, she swiftly adopted a more menacing tone, brandishing my email address like it's some sort of secret weapon. I couldn’t help but burst into laughter - clearly, your disreputable company had dabbled in dodgy data selling, and she shouldn't flatter herself by thinking she’s on a par with MI5 or Mensa! With a ghastly laugh, she claimed to have all the insider info about me, insisting she was merely reaching out to help me rake in some cash. I mean, after our riveting exchange, it was obvious she had my best interests at heart, willing to risk her own career just to see me prosper! Clearly, she’s better suited to a scammer's den than anything else. As we wrapped up our conversation - me kindly letting her know how utterly useless she was at her job - I decided to block her number. However, I'm quite tempted to unblock her for a bit of festive cheer when Christmas rolls around, just to relive the hilarity!
