Some bloke with a dodgy accent called me claiming to be from a security company. He said there was over £1000 taken from my bank in two transactions and wanted my date of birth and address to check it out. I quickly told him I wasn’t sharing any info coz it sounded like a scam and he just ended the call.

Spoke to a really rude, smug woman on the phone who clearly had no clue what she was supposed to be doing. I wouldn’t tell her what my job was, and then she started getting all threatening, saying she knew my email and even recited it back to me. I couldn’t stop laughing - all that meant was her dodgy company had just bought some data somewhere, and she’s no secret agent or genius for knowing that. Then with this silly laugh, she told me to be careful because she "knew all about me" and was calling to help me make money. By then, it was obvious she thought we had a great bond and she was ready to risk her own future to help me get rich - honestly, she should stick to working in a scam call centre. We ended the call with me telling her she was terrible at her job, and then I blocked her. Honestly, it was such a laugh that I might unblock her and give her a ring back over Christmas when things get dull.
