Some bloke called me claiming he was from HMRC, telling me I’d been dodging taxes for two decades and owed them £2500. He warned me to pay up straight away or else I’d be dragged to court, where if I lost, the bill could soar to £20000. He even said if I couldn’t cough up, I’d be looking at 3 years and 100 days in jail. I wasn’t having any of it, told him to get lost and hung up sharpish.

someone called saying they were from virgin media but after ringing virgin myself they told me it was a scam so watch out!
