2 yearsThey say they're from O2 and ask you to text them a code they send. It's a scam, so just hang up straight away. If you give them the code, they can get into your account and actually order an O2 phone delivered to your house. Later, they'll ring you up pretending it's about returning the device to a courier, but really it never goes back to O2 - they just keep a brand new iPhone 15 Pro for free.2 yearsThe real owner aint the one phoning you. Someone’s faked the number and now they’re getting loads of incoming calls from loads of strangers everyday.2 yearsGot another one of those scam calls just now.2 yearsAbsolutely no link to Amazon. When I answered, there was loads of noise, like it was a hectic call centre in the background. After a pause, a woman with an Indian accent started with "Hello dear" and claimed she was ringing from 'the telephone refund department'. I told her straight up it was nonsense and just a scam, then hung up. Over the last couple of months, I've had loads of calls like this, all from different dodgy numbers. I've blocked the latest one, but it won't put an end to it, I’m sure.Amazon2 yearsGot a call from a lady with an Indian accent saying she was from TalkTalk. She told me someone was messing about with my Wi-Fi. It all sounded like it was from some call centre though. I just ended the call and never heard from them again. They asked me to verify my details before handing over the refund. I was instantly suspicious since I don’t rent anything and never had any contact with this company. They already knew my name and address and then asked for my date of birth. I told them straight up it was a scam and they hung up immediately.2 yearsThey tried ringing my place but couldn’t get through thanks to Call Guardian blocking them.CallGuardian2 yearsHad a call from someone pretending to be Amazon about my Prime account renewal - total scam!!!Amazon Prime2 yearsThey hung up straight away when I didnt pick up.
