Got a ring from them earlier today. They asked me to verify my address, so I said I’d recently moved and gave them a completely made up one. I told them I’m now based at 10 Downing Street. Whenever they asked for any personal info, I made sure to feed them rubbish and totally wrong details. this number rang me a couple of times earlier today, i missed the first call. when i picked up the second call, some woman with an indian accent asked for #myname#. i said yep, that’s me and then she just hung up immediately?! seemed a bit dodgy so i decided to google the number since it showed as a mobile on my caller ID. turns out loads of folks are saying it’s a scam. pretty sketchy if you ask me.

I responded to a job advert on Indeed, it was through some place called National Placements, which seemed like a recruitment agency or something. I put in my details and all that. Since then, I reckon they've shared my info with loads of random companies or people - couldn’t be Indeed though, that seems less likely. Now I keep getting spam calls non-stop. Just a heads up, watch out for this!

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent who actually knew my name. I told him he had the wrong number and quickly put the phone down. Like someone else mentioned, after sharing my info with a couple of job agencies, I’ve been getting loads of calls from unknown numbers (even one from Russia!) plus a ton of spam emails I never used to get. Feels like my details are being passed around or sold on, can’t be just luck.

Just like many others, he seemed to already know a lot about me which felt really off. I didn't want to reply to any of his questions, but he ended up saying I was wasting his time and was quite nasty about it. I told him that since he was the one who called me, it was my choice whether I answered or not. After that, he got even ruder and just cut the call.

Got a call a minute ago, the guy actually mentioned my name and where I used to live. Told him I’d moved now. He then asked for my new postcode, so I gave him SW1A 2AA and said house number 10, and he just ended the call straight away.

This number keeps ringing me several times daily, claiming they’re doing a survey. At first, I agreed, thinking it was legit since I’ve never had unsolicited calls from a mobile before. After just a couple of questions, I got suspicious and told them I had to get back to work. Despite that, they carry on calling me twice a day. I’ve asked them a couple of times to remove me from their list and stop phoning, but that hasn’t helped. I’ve finally signed up with the TPS, so fingers crossed they’ll quit after 28 days!

So annoying these calls! I’ve had 23 in just a week! If your phone lets you block numbers, definitely do it with this one. For anyone using a Samsung Galaxy, just find the number in your recent calls, tap on it, then hit the three dots on the top right and choose block. Took me no more than a couple of minutes and really saved me some hassle this week.
