This number just called me, had some international prefix, bloke said his name was Sam and that he was ringing about windows and doors. He reckoned I was the owner of the place. Bit annoying coz I’m on the TPS and my details are ex-directory. So I asked if he’d even heard of the TPS, threw in a few choice words I won't bother typing here, and then he just slammed the phone down on me.

About 14 hours back, got a call from someone claiming it was about loft insulation. When I asked them for their website, they just hung up straight away. I’ve seen other people mentioning similar calls too.

What a dodgy bloke! He claimed he was calling from the local energy provider and reckoned I was the house owner. It didn’t take long before it was clear he just wanted to sell me something. I told him I was just a tenant, not the owner, and he just cut the call straight away. I've gone ahead and blocked this number now.
