Received a call from a number I didnt recognise. I picked up but just left the phone down without saying anything. The caller hung up real quick and there was a weird sound like it was from some automated calling system, even tho the number looked like a mobile. Ive marked this number as a scammer and will just ignore them if they ring again.

They keep ringing me up on both my mobile and home phone even though I’m signed up with the TPS. They asked about a crash I was in and I said I’d just had an accident and had even wet myself! Then me hubby told them he’d died in the crash! Once, I even blew a whistle down the phone as loud as possible, yet they still keep calling! Proper nuisance and totally pestering me!

They keep ringing me, sounds like an Indian accent, and now they even know my name. I contacted my phone provider but since they’re clueless about who’s making the calls and these scammers swap numbers all the time, there’s nothing they can do. I did fill out a solicitor form online about a month ago, and that’s about when these calls started. Thinking of changing my mobile number after having the same one for ten years!

Received a call on 09/06/2016 from someone saying they were from Accident Claims Helpline. They mentioned an accident I might’ve been involved in over the last couple of years. It’s a bit worrying how they got hold of my mobile number. I’ve been using a site to compare energy suppliers recently and I’m guessing they might have shared my details with some marketing company. Some accident claims place rang my mum sayin she'd been in an accident. She asked where they got her details from, and a bloke with a weird accent (maybe middle eastern or Indian) said the insurance company gave it to them. When she asked about when it supposedly happened, he just hung up. Seems like a dodgy data scam to me.
