Got a call from some bloke with a thick Indian accent calling himself “Steve”, trying to pitch me some “O2 upgrade” deal. The first number he used didn’t show up anywhere on my call log, so I missed jotting it down. About an hour later, the same guy rang again from 07451 289 868. He actually knew my name and number, which was a bit creepy. The moment I asked “Who’s this?”, he just hung up. I reckon “Steve” is one of those dodgy scammers who got annoyed when I told him to “F-off” after he asked if I was with O2 or not.
