I received a rather odd text from an unknown number, where the person asked me for my name and whether I was female. Their initial message stated something along the lines of “where are you? I’m waiting for you.” Naturally, I replied seeking clarification on who exactly they were. This is when they identified themselves as Susan and inquired if I went by the name Lisa. I quickly clarified that I wasn’t Lisa at all and suggested it seemed they may have dialled incorrectly. Despite this, they continued to probe with questions, insisting on knowing my name, to which I provided a pseudonym instead. Quite the curious exchange, wouldn’t you agree?
