Total scam, don’t waste your time with this.

Had a call from someone claiming to be VISA, but the automated voice sounded familiar. When I finally got through to a guy with an Asian accent, I told him I was recording the call for fraud reasons. Straight away, he hung up on me. Usually, when I mention recording, they just drop the call pretty quick. It's a nasty scam, so watch out, it's quite risky stuff.

Got a call from the same number three days in a row. They told me someone had charged £600 on my VISA abroad. Thing is, I don’t even have a VISA card! When I questioned them about how they got my details, they just cut the call right away.

Got a dodgy text supposedly from the 'fraud department' claiming £600 had been withdrawn from my debit card. Totally false, not a penny missing!

Some muppet called me on 07451282312 trying to get me to move £850 from my bank to some “safe” account. I told them straight up in my own words to p*** off. Do they think I’m daft or something? Like I’ve got a target on my forehead!

Absolute con! Received an automated call claiming there was a dodgy £600 transaction on my debit card being sent overseas. I didn't continue with the call since I could tell it was a total fabrication.

Apparently £600 was withdrawn from my debit card while I was overseas. That’s completely false.

Got a call with an automated voice saying something about £300 on Amazon and £1100 for international transactions - they said it looked like fraud. Total SCAM. Don’t press 1 to talk to anyone, they’ll just start charging you loads. Avoid it!

Got a robo call telling me £600 was withdrawn from my debit card and sent overseas. Then they gave me the standard “press 1 for this, press 2 for that” nonsense. Ended up just hanging up.

Someone called saying there'd been a dodgy £600 card payment, so I just hung up on them.

They were just quiet for a bit then ended the call, probably around 20 seconds in.

My phone only buzzed three times before the answering machine picked up, but no one left a message. I got nine calls in a single day which was quite overwhelming. It’s frustrating but you can’t ignore them in case it’s an important callback from a doctor. I wish the government would step in and sort this out.

Scammers must think we're idiots, ringing from a blocked number and saying my card was used in some dodgy transaction. All just so they can scam your bank info - absolute muppets.

I don't even have a bank account or 600 quid, absolute dodgy scammers trying their luck.

Got a call from someone claiming my card was used fraudulently, sounded like a bank scam. They had a recorded message and tried to scare me. Dont give them any info, it’s not legit!

I usually don’t pick up my landline anymore, especially if I don’t recognise the number. This time, I let it ring out and no voicemail was left either. Honestly, if it’s someone I know, they’d leave a message anyway.

Definitely a bank scam call.

Looks like a mobile number, but don't bother calling it back - it's just dead. I'd say it's best to double check with your bank and treat it like a scam. Better safe than sorry!

I chose not to pick up, especially after reading others’ experiences here saying it’s basically pointless. Glad I didn’t bother.

Got a robo call saying it was Visa warning me about a suspicious £600 charge on my card from abroad. The automated voice said press 1 to confirm or 2 to talk to someone. I chose option 2 and the person on the line instantly asked for my personal info like my name and where I live. I called it out as a scam and said I’d be reporting them to the police before hanging up straight away.

Got a recorded call and noticed £600 missing from my debit card - the money was sent overseas somehow. Typical scam stuff like "Press 1 for this" or "Press 2 for that." Watch out, these are just tricks to steal your cash.

So, I got a call from someone saying he was "Ron" from VISA, talking about £600 charged to my card. I asked which bank it was linked to, and he said HSBC. I told him I don’t even have an account there, and then he just dropped the call on me. Honestly, HSBC, maybe it’s time you look into this and clean up your name. And Priti P, this kind of thing needs to be stopped for the sake of Global Britain.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from my bank's HR department about my card. They told me to press 1 or 2, but it felt fishy. Turns out, I’ve been billed £300 on Amazon and another £1000 somewhere else. Definitely a scam alert!
