Received a call purporting to be from 3 Mobile, attempting to fish for my personal information. I gave them a piece of my mind and threw in a few choice words for good measure! They were relentless in their pursuit of my email, home address, and even my banking details, all in the name of a so-called discounted contract for an iPhone 13 Pro Max. Please, for the love of all that’s good, steer clear-it's nothing more than a scam!

Got a call from 07451279022, a bloke with an Indian accent claiming he was ringing from 3, trying to sell me a contract upgrade with a cheaper price. Honestly, I could tell it was dodgy straight away, but I figured I’d mess about with him and kill some time. Once he realised he wasn’t gonna make a sale, he hung up on me. Typical scam call really.

Without a doubt, this is a dodgy call. I've encountered similar ones before, always peddling some sort of discount. They typically attempt to fish for your banking info-that's their game. It's best to steer clear of this caller entirely and make sure to block the number.

Initial text read, "Hello, I’m here! Whereabouts are you?" I could tell straight away it was a dodgy setup after the next couple of messages, yet I played along just to string them along for a bit. They were relentless in their attempts to pry into my personal info-my name, location, age-and then suggested we chat on WhatsApp. Insisting on calling me ‘mate’ and showering me with unnecessary flattery, you could really see the desperation in their approach!
