I got a call off a bloke saying he was Sam and worked for some ‘Debt and Money Advice Forum’. Sounded really dodgy and when I started asking questions, he couldn’t keep his story straight and just ended the call. He seemed to know my name and kept saying I’d signed up for help on a forum, which is totally not true.

Someone rang me asking about my life insurance and where my bank account was held. They kept pushing for an answer and just wouldn’t accept me saying no. Eventually, I just had to hang up and blocked the number.

I picked up the phone but the person on the other end didn’t speak much English. They wanted to speak to me, I told them she isn’t here right now and asked who it was, but the connection was awful and I couldn’t catch what they said before they just hung up.
