I just logged into my Debenhams New Day card account online, and they sent me a code via an automated call. At first, I wasn’t sure who had rung me, so I looked up the number and found out it was that automated message with the verification code. So for me, this number seems legit. If others are getting these calls out of the blue, maybe the credit card company has mixed up someone else's phone details.
