I got a call from what I think was a scam call centre in Bangladesh. When I replied to them in Hindi, they began hurling insults back in their own language. Quite the bizarre experience!

I got a call from a bloke who could hardly string a sentence together in English but somehow knew my name. He claimed to be from the British Medical Association and kept asking if I’d had all the covid vaccines and when. I asked him why the hell he needed to know and what it was to do with him, and he ended up calling me a ####. Proper rude. I just ended the call there, felt really intimidating and upsetting. Then he rang me another three times after that. I’ve blocked 07451 253 893 now so hopefully it stops.
