I posted a complaint on Sky's Facebook page, and shortly after, they sent me a private message asking for my phone number to sort things out. Not long after, I got a call from +44 7451 251332, with a guy named Jerrard Garret who spoke with a South Asian accent. He heard me out and then said Sky would be compensating me. He told me to download an app and enter my info, which I did. Then, as I was putting in my details, I started getting text messages with codes that he asked me to read back. It only clicked when the app asked for my bank info that something was off. Nearly fell for it.
