Glad I found this website before getting scammed. I got a call about buying a puppy, just like loads of other people. They said they worked in Kirkwall, which is nowhere near me, and wanted all the money upfront with only delivery available. Something about it didn’t sit right, so I backed off. Cheers for the heads up!

This bloke said he was selling a puppy from Kirkwall and wanted me to pay up front. He even sent me pictures of a lady holding a passport, saying she was his daughter. I got in touch with the woman myself, and she told me she’s not connected to him at all and that he scammed her out of £300 previously. Total con.

This one was like the others, said something about a marmoset money, called me in Kirkwall. Got some pics and texts as proof. Couldn't really answer my questions properly. Told me the delivery would be at 4pm after an 11-hour trip. Never handed over any cash though.

i got a call from this number trying to push a poodle on me for £1000 or two for £1500. sounded dodgy straight away so I didn’t fall for it. honestly, just ignore whatever they say cause it’s a scam to steal your cash.

I got tricked into paying 800 quid for a dog that never showed up, and honestly, I feel so daft for falling for the whole thing.

We were trying to get a dog and this guy tried to rip us off by asking for the full payment upfront. Definitely a con artist, don’t trust a word he says.

Got a call from someone claiming to send a puppy all the way from Kirkwall by courier. Total scam, the dogs don’t even exist! They try to trick you with fake photos and videos, making up stories to get your money. Seriously, don’t fall for this, it’s all just a con. Trust me, nothing they say is true!
