My daughter got tricked by someone called Jackson Alison Smith who pretended to want a camera she was selling on Gumtree. They said the payment was on its way via PayPal, but nothing ever arrived. She sent the camera, but no money came through. We’ve involved the police, but ParcelForce wasn’t much help since they couldn’t halt the delivery, even after we told them it was being stolen while in transit. Sadly, my daughter lost £330 in this scam.
