Someone gave me a call, didn’t say their name or anything, just mentioned something about an Amazon voucher and then said there was an attempt to take £899 from my account. So, I checked the number here and turns out it was a total scam trying to trick me into pressing a button that would cost me money.

Got a call from some American-sounding robot lady saying there was a dodgy transaction on my credit card, something about Amazon. Thing is, banks never call from mobile numbers, and I haven't even got an Amazon account or made any purchases there! I’m on BT call protect and signed up with the TPS too, but these annoying calls just keep coming. I never asked for any of this, it’s so frustrating! Tried reporting to BT, TPS, and Ofcom but they just don’t seem to do anything about it!
