Got a text outta nowhere claiming to be from my boss, saying they wanted to reward the team with gift cards as a thank you. They were REALLY stressing to keep it hush-hush so it’d be a surprise. Made me suspicious straight away - no way a real CEO would message a random employee like that. Asked where they’d even got my number from and they didn’t have an answer. Be careful, folks. The dodgy number was 07450344816.
