They called me pretending to be from Amazon, wanting me to verify a purchase I didn’t make. Honestly felt like they were trying to get a voice recording or something dodgy like that. I probably shouldn’t have answered, but the number looked quite similar to mine and didn’t show up as spam, so I thought it might be legit. Weirdly, the call only lasted around 20 seconds but my phone logs it as 12 minutes! Since the number was almost identical to my own and they claimed to be Amazon while keeping the line open after I ended the call, I’m definitely marking this as dangerous.
