Got a dodgy text supposedly from Barclays saying someone called R Davies wants to add themselves as a new payee to my account via mobile banking. Thing is, I don’t even have a Barclays account! The message said if I didn’t do it, to check a link that looked fishy: Barclays[###][###]nfirm-or-deny[###]. Definitely a scam, watch out!

Got a message about an HSBC account that apparently doesn’t even exist. They told me to check out some site for security issues or whatever, called security.hsbcuk.securekey-payee[###]. Sounded dodgy to me, so watch out!
