Like others have said, I got a dodgy text about a payee request from someone called R Davies, supposedly linked to the Barclays mobile banking app. Definitely looks like a scam to me.

got a weird text saying some bloke named r davies was trying to get into our barclays banking app.. but we dont even have the app! said there was a link too, looks dodgy as hell. dont click that link, its not legit!

Got a message from Barclays mobile banking about a payment request from R Davies. It said to click a link if I didn’t make the request. Seemed a bit dodgy to me.
