Got a call from someone with a South Asian accent claiming my landline was linked to a cloned Amazon Prime account that got hacked. Thing is, while she was talking, I could hear two other people in the background repeating the exact same story, which immediately made me suspicious - sounded like a proper scam to me. Also, she was speaking ridiculously fast and wouldn’t let me get a word in. To top it off, I don’t even have an Amazon Prime account! Total scam alert.
