The person said they were from Amazon and claimed that an iPhone had been ordered on my account. They wanted to confirm the purchase with me. I told them I hadn’t placed any such order and wanted it cancelled, but then they tried to get me to go through some kind of procedure to handle it. I was about to start a work meeting, so I said I’d deal with it another time.
