Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent saying he was from BT, telling us our internet was compromised. My wife caught on that it was probably a scam and played along to see what would happen next. He just suddenly ended the call, no explanation. The number he called from, 07449022218, is a mobile number registered to Hutchison 3G UK Ltd, which trades as Three UK - definitely not BT. We’ve already alerted BT about it.
