Got a call from someone claiming to be from Amazon, telling me I'd bought an iPhone which I definitely hadn't. They said they could cancel it by sending me a text with a code, and asked me to read it aloud. I told them I'd verify on my Amazon app first and they started getting a bit rude, so I just ended the call. Later, I rang the number back and an automated message said it was Lycamobile. Definitely felt like a scam to me.

Got a call from some young lass claiming I’d ordered an iPhone from Amazon. I told her straight up I don’t even have an Amazon account, so there’s no way I ordered anything. Instead of being polite, she called me a fibber and just hung up on me! Me and my husband had a good chuckle over the cheek of it all.

They called and asked for me by name, talking really fast about being quick, so I asked who it was, but whatever they said sounded like something about #something# homes. I asked once more who they were, but the reply came so fast I couldn't catch a word, so I just ended the call. Now they've been blocked.
