Got a call from someone with a Middle Eastern accent saying his name was Steve and claiming to be from Amazon support. He told me I’d ordered the new iPhone 16 and wanted to confirm the purchase. I instantly thought it was dodgy since I don’t even have an Amazon account - my partner does, but not me. Checked my Amazon account just to be sure and there was no record of any order like that. Definitely a scam.
