Someone rang me from this number claiming to be from Microsoft. The bloke had no British accent, which for whatever reason always makes me suspicious. He said my computer had a security issue and asked me to turn it on. I told him I couldn’t because the computer was actually in my car (which wasn’t true). He quickly insisted, “It’ll just take a moment, hurry up and get it!” That’s when I figured it was best to just hang up!
