Got a call from a woman who spoke English but had a weird accent. She claimed to be from some private company’s anti-fraud team working alongside the UK Government, something to do with crypto stuff. I kept asking which part of the Government she was from, but she wouldn’t give a straight answer. Then I asked a few more questions and still no proper explanation, after which she just hung up on me. Definitely sounded like one of those crypto or banking scams. Total rubbish.
