I work night shifts and have repeatedly asked them to stop, but they just ignore me. It's really wearing me down because I'm constantly exhausted and finding it hard to concentrate at work. I can't just switch my phone off either since I've got elderly parents who might need me urgently. On top of that, I struggle with depression and anxiety, and these calls are seriously messing with my mental health.

Over the last couple of weeks, this number has rung me up multiple times. The caller had a strong, thick Asian accent that was really hard to catch, and it sounded like they were just reading off a script. They kept pushing some kind of home appliance warranty deal. Pretty clear to me it’s a dodgy scam.

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent who said I was overpaying on my appliance insurance and they wanted to lower the cost. I told her I didn’t even know I had any cover on those things. She said the yearly fee was about £300, so maybe that’s why I hadn’t noticed. I replied that I would definitely spot that amount being taken from my account, but thanked her for the offer to reduce it and ended the call. Pretty clear they wanted me to switch to monthly payments and then get my bank info. Total scam, since there’s no insurance on any of those items.
