Got a call claiming there was an £899 charge on my card I didn't recognise. They said to press 1 to sort it out or 2 to talk to some “bank security” person. Never said what bank or card provider they were from - as if I’d fall for that anyway. Plus, the number showed as a mobile, not a proper bank line. These scam calls are happening nearly daily to me now. Honestly, don’t fall for it, just ignore the call or hang up straight away. Don’t press anything!
